AL DAVIS: 1929-2011 -- 'Just win, baby.' Even the most novice of NFL fans know that quote, made famous by Brooklyn-bred Raiders owner Al Davis. No one in NFL history wore more hats than the 1992 hall of fame inductee, who was a scout, assistant coach, head coach and commissioner of the ALF before becoming the Raiders owner. His teams reflected his brash personality. He sought out the outcasts and rebels to wear the silver and black. He suped up his passing offenses by adding speed. His defenses pushed the envelope of dirty. They were in your face, trying to break your quarterback's nose if they could. Davis, 82 when he died in October, made plenty of enemies on his way to three Super Bowls and his mark on the game might be summed up best by former Raider Tom Keating. 'Ask whether I love him or hate him,' Keating said. 'Yes.'
